Post Mortem on the Election

Folks, I have been trying to form some coherent thoughts about the election this past Tuesday, and I have found a number of very good articles in cyberspace which go a long way towards explaining what happened. One of them is here, and another is here. I believe that our nation's lack of faith has a lot to due with our poor choices, but I want to check with some folks who are more knowledgeable on such things before I post any more on the subject.
