Church Growth?

Folks,

Our Church has seen some pretty decent growth in the past three and a half years, and this has led to some discussions about how we should proceed in the future. We seem to have members who hold just about every possible position on how to, or should we, grow our church. In Mathew 28, Christ does not give us a choice. We are commanded to "make disciples" . The question now becomes a matter of "how". This piece highlights some of the dangers inherent in "growing" a church. For any of our members who may be reading this piece, I do not think that we have fallen into any of the traps described in the article. I do believe that as long as we keep our eyes focused on the Gospel, keep our focus outward, and ensure that our message is God's message, God will bless our efforts.
